Cynthia (Cyndi) Lynn Toomey, 55, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away very suddenly on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at her home, following a recent illness.

A memorial service, to celebrate Cyndi's life, will be held at 2.30 pm on Sunday, September 16, at Forest Park Funeral Home, Reverend Mary Tumulty of First United Methodist Church of Conroe will lead the service for all family and friends.

Cyndi was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on September 27, 1956. She completed her education at San Ramon High School in California, and initially worked in California until 1980, when she moved permanently to Texas.

Cyndi spent most of her working career in the automobile sales business, in a variety of roles in sales and marketing, with several different companies, in both California and Texas, and most recently with Wiesner in Tomball, Texas. She was also involved in charitable organizations, always had a keen interest in her home and garden, loved movies, and was devoted to her family and friends. Cyndi was a fantastic lady full of life and love for all, she had a smile that lit up a room, and a personality to go with it.

Cyndi is survived by her daughters, Amber and Summer Toomey, her parents, Dave and Sandra Smith, her brother, Doug Smith, her partner, Alan Leiper, granddaughter Alyssa, her cousins, nieces and nephews, and other family.

All flowers will be donated to local hospitals.

The family of Cynthia Lynn Toomey wishes to thank medical staff at St Luke's in The Woodlands and other local medical organizations for their help and support during her recent illness, and to dear friends for providing comfort and support to her.
