Cyrus Wayne Biggers went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 6, 2017. He was born on December 16, 1936, in Rockmart, GA to Lewis and Opal Biggers.

He served as captain of his football team in High School and was named all state guard and Most Valuable Lineman in 1954. He also excelled in golf and basketball. This all earned him the honor of being selected to the Rockmart High Hall of Fame in Athletics.

He served his Country with honor in the USAF and was a Vietnam Veteran. He had been employed by NASA, was a meat butcher and had his own delivery business.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Adult Bible Sunday school class of Conroe. He had delivered meals on wheels for years and was in charge of The Society of St. Stephens Food Pantry at his church in Pasadena, TX.

He was an avid gardener and member of the Friendship Senior Garden in Conroe. He loved to fish, play golf, travel and cook for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Michelle. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, son Charles and wife Christine; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. One sister, Jane Biggers of Rockmart, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be on October 11, 2017, at the chapel of First United Methodist Church of Conroe at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Houston National Cemetery of Houston, Texas. Mary Tumulty, Pastor officiating.
