Daniel Robertson Obituary

Daniel George Robertson, Jr was born on April 23, 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts and passed away on November 18, 2015 in Conroe, Texas.

Danny served his country in the US Army from 1965-1967 in Vietnam until he was wounded and honorably discharged and awarded the Purple Heart along with several service medals and sharpshooter badge. Danny was a devoted man of God and studied his Bible daily. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and a devoted family man.

Preceded in death by Father, Daniel George Robertson, Sr., his Mother, Amelia Robertson and his loving wife of 35 years Ruby Yvonne Robertson, he is survived by Children, Chris Robertson, Becky Robertson-Norwood, Gabriel Robertson and Victoria Robertson. Brother, Thomas Robertson, Sisters, Jeanne Farley, Cheri Robertson, Debbie Robertson, and Brenda Robertson. Danny also left behind 10 grandchildren, Megan, Mercedes, Bodie, Clayton, Zachary, Hannah, Tristen, Morgan, Aiden and Brittany and 2 great grandchildren, Ryder and Maddox.

Pallbearers are Keith Hoffpauir, Jason Hoffpauir, Toby Notter, Cody Farley, Steve Farley, Jr Michael Robertson, Louis Swindall, Jacob Turner, David Umphenour, Jon Merryfield, and John Hare. Honorary Pallbearers are Bodie Robertson, Clayton Norwood, Zachary Coleman, Tristen Robertson, and Aiden Robertson

The family would also like to say a special thank you to Danny's lifelong friend Richard Lyons.

Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral Service for Daniel George Robertson, Jr will be held at the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00AM. There will be a private family interment.
