Graveside funeral services will be held for Dareline Gentry, 73, at the Homer Arlington Cemetery on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Charles Hamilton, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7 p.m.

Dareline was born Oct. 31, 1940 in Palestine, TX to Darrel and Martha Fraser Gentry. She entered into rest Sunday, Dec. 1st at Presbyterian Village Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Dareline taught school at Claiborne Academy, the Conroe Independent School District in Conroe, TX and finished her teaching career at the Homer Elementary. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Clyde Hightower of Haynesville; niece, Jill Smith and husband, Garrett and their children, Jackson and Jordan Garrett, all of Tyler, TX; nephew, Jack Hightower and his son, Jarod Hightower and wife, Talia of Orlando, FL.
