Funeral services for David Wayne Weaver, 70, longtime resident of Spring, Texas will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Pastor Rick Fowlkes officiating. Interment will follow in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Mr. Weaver was born on July 12, 1943 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Frank Weaver, Jr. and Ruby Lilly (Bellah) Weaver. David was passed away peacefully on October 9, 2013 at his home in Spring, Texas surrounded by his family. David was preceded in death by his mother and father, grandmother, Mattie Riley, brother, Michael Weaver and his wife, Peggy, and his beloved son, Frank W. Weaver. David is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Weaver; son, Kerry Lee Weaver; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Donna Weaver; aunt, Lillian Cameron and husband, James; nephews, Cody Weaver, Roger Weaver and wife, Sherri, Randy Weaver and wife, Cathy, Jimmy Honsinger and wife, Sherie; nieces, Stephanie Nicole Weaver and Christian Weaver; grandchildren, Emily Nicole (Weaver) Reeder and husband, Jonathan and Kerry Lee Weaver,Jr.; numerous other dear relatives and friends also survive. David and Mary were longtime members of Gateway Church in Spring, Texas. For over forty years, David has been in the Insurance industry. He worked for Southern Life and Health Insurance and Reliable Insurance. He not only took pride in his business, but truly relished the friends he made during his time in business. Over the years, his insurance expertise and reputation led him to become an independent insurance agent. He ran his own agency for Columbian Life Insurance with his wife, Mary for many years, and worked with clients up until his illness. David will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother and doting grandfather. He was dearly loved and will be missed.
