You always had a contagious smile, a loving heart, and a warm personality. We will miss you terribly. We know that you are in Heaven with the Lord and you will have no more pain.

May you rest in peace.

Diane is survived by her husband Major Jerome J. LaValley, her daughter Kathleen LaValley of Dallas, Texas and son Andrew LaValley of New York, New York.

Diane was born in Evanston, Illinois to the late Clarence Pahnke and Marita Pahnke. Her parents moved to April Sounds in Montgomery in 1976. She attended Montgomery High School, and she was on the honor roll and a member of the Bonnie Belles Drill Team.

She enrolled in college a University of Texas, where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Finance. While attending college she met her husband Jerome, and they were married on July 2, 1988. They traveled for several years, and then had their daughter Kathleen in 1993 and their son Andrew in 1996.

Diane worked as a Senior Accounting Manager at Valero for 18 years, and retired earlier this month.

She is survived by her sisters Sharon and Scott Boulware, of Bridgeport, Texas, Sandra and Dale Dupree of Dallas, Texas, her brothers Jim and Kelli Pahnke of Montgomery, Texas, and Lance and Tina Pahnke of Conroe, Texas.

She is also survived by nephews and nieces, Eric and Danika Boulware and their children Alexis and Ethan Boulware, Jeannie and son Cameron Collazo, and nephew Kevin Boulware. Jordan, Bryan, and Jake Dupree of Dallas, Texas, Keagan and Taylor Pahnke of Montgomery, Texas, and Chad and Zane Pahnke of Conroe, Texas.

Also survived by Uncle and Aunts, Trudy Maskin of Chicago, Rich and Elaine Hill, and Jack Russell of Chicago and numerous cousins in Chicago.

Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway San Antonio, Texas, with the burial being held at Interment at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio.

Visitation will be held on November 19, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral will be held on November 20, 2015 at 9:00am.
