Dolores (Dee) Estelle Wineman, 79, of Conroe, TX found peace in the arms of the Lord. In the seven years preceding her death, Dee battled with two types of cancer leading to chemotherapy and radiation therapies, three extensive surgeries, and many complications requiring long periods of time spent from her home. Her long-battle came to an end on September 23, 2014 in Nexus Specialty Hospital in Shenandoah, TX.

Dee was born in Indiana, PA on July 10, 1935, and third daughter to John and Mary Pinchot-Secosky. In addition, Dee grew up with three siblings, Anne Secosky-Medora, Marie Secosky-Setlock,, and Lucy Secosky-Cunnighahm. After Dee graduated high school she left Ernest, PA to study with the Nuns in preparation for her calling to care for others in need. After extensive training in Pittsburgh she returned to Ernest to begin her nearly 50 year career in Labor and Delivery nursing in St. Joseph hospital. Shortly after beginning her career in nursing Dee met her soon to be husband, Ludwig (Lud) Charles Wineman. Lud was a veteran of the Air Force and served in the Korean War. They soon married on May 4, 1957 in Dee's home town of Ernest, PA at Assumption Church. Lud and Dee moved to Indiana, PA where they would start their life together.

While continuing to care for her patients at the hospital, she also cared for her six children: Barbara Lynn Wineman-Leveillee, Suzanne (Suzy) Wineman-Kaufman, Linda Marie Wineman-Smith, James (Jimmy) Ellis Wineman, Amy Jo Wineman-Rudd, and Mary Kathryn (Kay) Wineman-Sistrunk. After almost twenty years of living in Indiana, PA; Lud and Dee moved to Texas. In Texas they became dedicated members to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her son and daughters Suzy, Linda, Amy, and Kay, 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters Anne and Marie, her husband Lud, and her daughter Barbara.
