Donald B. Johnson was born on June 27, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and passed away on September 21, 2013 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 81. Donald served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. After returning home, he became a Mechanical Engineer, from which he retired. He was an artist, and was heavily involved, on stage and off stage, with the Players Theatre Company. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Gustov and Harriet Johnston Johnson, and also by his brother Carl Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 1/2 years, Julia Johnson of Conroe, Texas, by his daughter and son in law; Kathy and Ted Fediw of The Woodlands, Texas, and by his sister in law Barbara Momeyer of Las Vegas, Nevada, and by his son David Johnson of Hampton, Virginia. In lieu of flowers the family request donations go to the 2242 W. Holcombe BLVD. Houston, Texas 77030-2008. Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Tuesday September 24, 2013 from 5-8pm.
