DONALD ERIC VAN ORDEN, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away on July 19, 2014 at the age of 29.

Donald was born on May 8, 1985, in Houston, Texas and grew up in Montgomery, Texas. Amongst family

and friends he is known by "Donnie". Donnie's education" He Graduated from Montgomery High School in 2003, receiving a Scholastic Honors Certificate from the State of Texas, as a Certified Chef from Le Cordon Bleu in 2007, Kaplan University Masters program in Psychology in which he became a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars on July 26, 2012 and remained in good standing. Recognized as one of the top 20% of students who were invited to be members in the Association of College Honors Societies. Donnie was also an inventor with a Patent Application Publication dated August 14, 2013. Donnie's first written work product for Yahoo received publication January 2014. Donnie's interests were cooking, gardening, snowboarding, traveling, scuba diving, family, rock climbing, camping, hiking, swimming, white water rafting, long boarding, and psychology and world history.

Donnie was a loving son, brother and uncle; he is survived by his parents Helena and Don Van Orden, siblings Harrison, Hannelore, and niece Azilinn Van Orden. Grandparents Hannelore and Phil Cohan, Joyce and Don Van Orden. Godmother Monica Evans, numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in the United State and in Germany.

A Celebration of Life candle light service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at 7:00 pm at Walden Yacht Club, 13101 Melville Dr. Montgomery, Texas.

Dear Donnie, you will never be forgotten, you will always carry a special place in our hearts and even though your time here was cut way too short our memories together will live on forever. A life so young released to Heaven, but some are sent amongst us briefly....some have spirits meant to fly.
