Donald Sheldon Quinlan, 74, was born November 5, 1937 to Raymond and Virginia Quinlan in Montclair, New Jersey and passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Conroe, Texas. Don moved to Houston in 1952. After completing his education, he served in the United States Navy. In 1979, he started Banner Labs, Inc. and successfully sold the business in 1998. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shirley Quinlan; children, Brian Quinlan and wife Nicole, Bart Quinlan and wife Kim, Re'nee Brown and husband Terry; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Jim Quinlan and wife Vickie; sisters, and Bonnie Michel and husband Frank, and Joan Garrett; numerous other relatives and many friends. The funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 8185 County Road 205, Plantersville, TX 77363. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to , P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
