Dorothy G. Anderson, formerly of Conroe, passed away unexpectedly August 29, 2014, at the Village at Skyline in Colorado Springs. She was born January 18, 1926 in Raleigh, North Carolina to Claude Peebles and Flora McDonald (Warren).

She met and married the love of her life Holger (Andy) Anderson in 1948. Together they weathered the ebbs and flows of life for 58 years until his death in 2006. She was a resident of Conroe for over 30 years. Her professional life was spent as an executive assistant for several different companies and churches over the years. After her retirement she remained active with several volunteer organizations. She was a member of several Methodist churches over the years, remaining strong in her faith throughout her life.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her son David and wife Margaret and grandchildren Victoria and Michael. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on September 6 at the Village at Skyline in the Skyline room.

Inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make donations to your local Humane Society.
