Dorothy V. Broussard, born September 19, 1913 in Alexandria, La, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was predeceased by her mother, Pauline Watters Huddle Broussard, father Charles Clemile Broussard, brothers David Franklin Broussard and Charles Hugh Broussard and nephew Stephen Broussard. She is survived by six nieces and nephews, James H. Broussard (Margaret), David F. Broussard (Chris), Thomas R. Broussard (Mollie), Nancy A. Leonard (David), Camille B. Sullivan (Danny), and Dorothy B. Bell (Mike).

Miss Broussard worked for United States Department of State in the Foreign Service from 1944 to 1972, serving in France, Greece, Morocco, Israel, Indonesia, England and Japan. She retired as a full Consul and moved to Texas. She lived in both Houston and Panorama Village there. Before her move to Lexington in 2004, she was an active member of St. James Episcopal Church in Conroe, TX and volunteered for 20 years at the Conroe Medical Center.

Memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 1803 Highland Hollow, Conroe, TX 77304 or the . Services will be at St. James on Wednesday, January 7, 2014 at 10:00. Burial is at Garden Park Cemetary.
