Dustin Ryan Kellogg, 18, tragically passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Porter, TX. He was born on Tuesday, February 16, 1993 in Conroe, TX. Dustin was a graduate of Caney Creek High School, who went on to pursue his dream of being a professional athlete, when he was drafted by the Houston Astros in 2011 as a right handed pitcher. He was the life of the party and had a real knack for telling it like it was. Dustin had a big heart and held his loved ones and friends dearly. Dustin was preceded in death by his pawpaw, Samuel Kellogg. He is survived by his proud loving family, father, Scott Kellogg and fiancé Shelly Webb of Conroe, TX; mother, Donna Haley and husband Grant of Cleveland, TX; maw-maw, Ceclia Kellogg; brothers, Jeff Kellogg of Conroe, TX, Grant Haley, Jr. and wife Suellen of Kingwood, TX, Garrett Haley of Kingwood, TX; sisters Courtney Kellogg Bryson and husband Nate of Montgomery, TX, Gwendy Haley of Austin, TX; niece, Jenna Haley; nephew on the way; Keegin Bryson and nephew, T.C Haley; uncles and aunts, Clint Kellogg and wife Marie, Jimmy Kellogg and wife Glenda; cousins, Ariel, Stephanie, Nanushka, Krissy and Tyler; along with numerous other loving family and friends. Dustin was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Visitation for Dustin will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 5:00-9:00 pm. Service for Dustin will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow service at Morgan Cemetery, Cleveland, TX. Pastor Mark Grimes officiating. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
