88, of Montgomery went to be with the Lord December 25, 2012. Earl was born April 21, 1924 in Galetown, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Denver with a BA degree in Fine Arts. Earl joined the navy and served aboard the USS Bushnell during WW II. He received many medals and insignias including American Area Insignia, Asiatic Pacific Area Insignia, Good Conduct Medal, WW II Victory Medal and Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal. Earl was honorably discharged in 1945. He then went to work for the US Postal service retiring with 30 years of service. Earl enjoyed art and was a Bachelor of Square Dancing. He was a member of the Tomball VFW and Conroe Friendship Center. Earl is survived by his wife of 23 years, Gloria Church of Montgomery; a brother, Frank Church of Vancouver, Washington; and a daughter, Julie Thomas of Denver, Colorado. Funeral service is 11AM Wednesday at Klein Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 10-11AM Wednesday prior to the service. Interment: Klein Memorial Park Cemetery FM 1488. Family request contributions in honor of Earl to Save The Children, Feed The Children.
