Earl Richard (E.R., Dick, Richie) Moore left this earth to be with our Lord on December 2, 2013. He was born to Leonard Dee & Reba Moore on December 20, 1938 in Oklahoma City, OK. Dick graduated from BurnsFlatHigh School in Oklahoma in 1957. He married Evadene Crook in 1956 and they were married for 21 years.

At the age of 16, Dick pursued his dream of becoming a pilot, began taking flying lessons and soloed before he graduated high school. Flying was not a career - it was a way of life. He often said that he loved flying so much that he would do it for free. In 1963 Dick moved from crop dusting to flying commercially when he began his career with Trans Texas Airways (later Continental). Over a 35-year period, Captain Moore accumulated over 34,000 flight hours. He retired in 1998 at the mandated retirement age of 60.

In 1978 Dick married Brenda Julian. Together they enjoyed RVing, motorcycle trips all over the country and cooking terrific meals for family & friends. When he wasn't able to spend time with family and friends he enjoyed building & flying model airplanes. He always looked forward to family reunions each year and happily served as auctioneer for the fund raiser.

Dick is survived by his daughters, Kathy and husband Ray Scott of San Marcos, Texas and Joan and husband George West of Houston, Texas, and step-children Mike Julian and Sissy Ginther. Grandchildren are Rachel Davis, Shanna Blair, Jessica West and Kristen Richter as well as step-grandson, John Justin Gilbert. Latest additions to the family were 3 great grandchildren, Callan Blair, Jack Davis & Reese Blair and step-great-grandson, Benton Gilbert.
