Edward "Duane" Hudson passed away on January 15, 2014. Duane was born in Houston, Texas on February 23, 1952. He worked his way up to become a prominent business owner that always focused on ethics and honesty to his community and customers. Duane was defined by his love for friends and family. He was admired and loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. Duane most enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren and working on home and business improvement projects.

Duane is preceded in death by his father, John Hudson; his mother, Neta Mae Hudson; and brothers John Jr. and William Ross.

Duane is survived by his wife of 42 years, Libby, who loves him dearly; daughters, Wendy and her husband Jeff, Mandy and her husband Anthony; Grandchildren, Hudson, Noah, Jax, Cole and Baby Arden; Sisters, Eva Greaner and husband Johnny Greaner, Karen Smith and husband David Smith; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins; and a great host of friends.

Duane's family will be receiving friends at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home on January 19, 2014 between 5:00 and 7:00 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands on January 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm with interment immediately to follow.
