Edward F. Kuhl, Sr. entered in eternal rest Saturday, October 11, 2014. Born on October 7, 1919, in NY, New York, Ed lived a long fruitful life. He was married to his wife, Dorothy for nearly 50 years before preceding him in death in 1998. Together they had five sons. Ed was a proud man, strong in his beliefs, old school values, manners, pride in his family, hard work and dedication. Ed worked for Southwestern Bell and AT&T for 38 years before retiring in Willis, Texas. A talented craftsman, he spent most of his retirement in his woodshop making gifts for beloved friends and enjoying their reactions to his work.

Survived by his five sons, Stephen and wife Donna of Calverton, Long Island, New York, Jeff and fiancé Luci of Seabrook, Texas, Edward of St. Francis, Minnesota, Tim and wife Janice of Willis, Texas and Chris and wife Lisa of Willis, Texas. Grandchildren, Amber Kuhl, Kevin Kuhl, Ben Kuhl, Ka'Lee Kuhl, Kristen Kuhl, Christian Kuhl, John Kuhl, Ryan Kuhl and one great grandson, Autry Kuhl. Niece Sue Kuhl and nephews Charles Kuhl and Jimmy Kuhl.

A special thanks to all of the nurses and caretakers at Elmcroft Assisted Living for taking such good care of our dad. Our family will be forever grateful.

Donating his body for research to Baylor College of Medicine was his last gesture. There will be no services at his request, a family gathering was his wish.
