Funeral services for Edward L. Williams, 82, of Willis, will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Trinity Baptist Church, Willis, Texas, with Rev. Tim Jaggers officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 11:30 AM at the church.

Mr. Williams was born Nov. 10, 1933 in Houston, Texas and passed away May 5, 2016 in Conroe, Texas. He was a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church and served as past treasurer for 2 years. Ed retired from Lone Star Industries and also from the County of Montgomery. During his retirement years, he enjoyed wood working in his work shop, as well as his numerous painting projects. He was skilled at computers and enjoyed his old western movies. Ed was a Jack of all trades and welcomed the challenge of building his own home that he shared with Janie, his wife of 56 years.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Etta Williams, and his son, Larry Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Janie, his son Mike, both of Willis, and granddaughter Madison of Houston. He is also survived by his sisters Barbara Parker of Spring and Carol Davis of Willis, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers for Mr. Williams will be: Mike Davis, Kenneth Parker, Louis Hall, Jesse Parker, Bill Coleman, and Chuck Kuhn. Condolences may be left at www.shmfh.com .
