Memorial services to celebrate the life of Eleanor Louise Kuehle will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Eleanor was born August 12, 1919 in Elkhart, Indiana to Merle and Winnefred Jamison and passed away October 16, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. While attending high school Eleanor received a tennis scholarship and was voted Most Popular during her senior year. Eleanor married the love of her life, Henry Kuehle on September 6, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. Together they shared 57 wonderful years. Eleanor loved playing golf and tennis. Henry and Eleanor relocated to Houston, TX in 1955 until her retirement in 1960. She moved to Panorama Village in Conroe in 1973. Eleanor is preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry Kuehle; by her son-in-law, Frank Denton Sr, and by her two grandsons, Frank Jr. and Michael Denton; beloved sister and brother, Lucille Benhke and Bill Jamison. She is survived by her son, Robert Kuehle and wife Chris of Katy, TX; daughter, Nancy Denton of Flint, TX; grandchildren, Richard Denton of Tyler and Kelly Domres of Las Vegas, NV and two great grandchildren, Jessica and Wesley Denton. Eleanor was a wonderful mother and wife and loved by her family and friends.
