Elizabeth Marie (Lizzy) Hoppe was granted her angel wings on February 29, 2012 due to complications from a sudden asthma attack that occurred on February 20, 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched over her very brief life.

Lizzy was a vibrant girl with a brilliant smile and an infectious laugh. Although her life was tragically short, she managed to touch many people and fill them with joy, if even for a moment. She had a way of brightening the gloomiest day with her cheerful personality and goofy sense of humor. She truly wore her heart on her sleeve and loved everyone that she met. She loved and was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

With Lizzy's passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss her everyday, she will forever be in our hearts and in our thoughts. Loss of a child is absolutely the worst thing that a parent can endure, so please hug your kids and tell them that you love them everyday.

Lizzy is survived by parents; Dana Ritchie, Matthew Ritchie, Eddie Hoppe and Mary Phillips, as well as her five brothers; Christian Newey, Eric Riegel, Shawn Riegel, Braedyn Ritchie and Payton Ritchie.

Visitation to be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 20850 Eva St., Montgomery, Texas on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 4pm to 6pm.
