Elizabeth Ann Weber, 79, of Dickinson, Texas passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2014 in Conroe, TX with family by her side.

She was the oldest child born to the late Gerard and Mary Elizabeth Weber in Brooklyn, NY on January 31st, 1935. She spent her life as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

A resident of Dickinson since 1966, she was involved in numerous charitable organizations within the community including The Thrift Shop, Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church and School, Habitat for Humanity - where she served on the board of directors, and most recently was passionately involved with Ground Angels for Angel Flight.

Throughout the later years of her life, she spent considerable time visiting her family across the country and kept close ties with all of her 16 grandchildren. Travelling was a passion as she travelled throughout Europe and went to China as well.

Ann is survived by her five children & spouses: Patty & Jim Schulze of Conroe, TX, Dianne & Bob Kasper of Gettysburg, PA, Joe & Edie Mechelay of Pampa, TX, Eddie & Deanna Mechelay of Broomfield, CO, and Jim & Krissi Mechelay of Waxachachie, TX, as well as 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, her sister Patricia "Bunny" and husband Bill McShea, and her brother Gerard Weber. She is preceded in death by her sister Katherine Elizabeth Weber and sister-in-law Carole Weber.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be given in her honor to: Angel Flight South Central, 2550 Midway Road, Ste. 220, Carrolton, TX 75006.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on August 1st, at Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson with a reception at the church following the services.
