Erma Lee Graham Wise, born February 17, 1925 in Big Creek, Texas, passed away on September 9, 2018 at the age of 93 following a valiant 18-year struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Erma is preceded in death by her parents, George M. and Ola Winslow Graham of Conroe. She is also predeceased by beloved husband Turner Ezekiel Wise of Willis as well as brothers Alton R. Graham of Houston, George M. Graham, Jr. of Corpus Christi, and sisters Verna Mae Graham Maduzia of Houston and Faye Ola Graham Johnson of Georgetown. Erma is survived by daughter Gaye Lynn Wise of Houston, son Larry A. Wise of Willis, several loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.

Erma graduated from Conroe High School and Durham's Business School in Houston. After returning to Conroe, Erma worked in the County Courthouse where she met Turner. They married in 1947, moved to Willis and immediately started their family. Erma became an active member of the Willis Church of Christ until physically unable to attend. She was a homemaker and stay-at-home-mom until her children started to school at which time she began to work with Turner in the family business, Wise Grocery and Hardware. She continued to work in the business until her illness forced her to stay at home. She volunteered as a room mother for her children's classes and was an active participant in the Willis PTA, serving as the organization's president for two years in the early 1960's. She also owned and managed rental property for a number of years.

Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral service for Erma Lee Graham Wise will be held at the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 12:30pm with visitation prior to service at 11:30am. Interment will follow service at Garden Park Cemetery.
