Eunice Jeanette Wilson of Conroe, Texas passed away April 23, 2013 at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Houston and graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1954. She worked for KP Oil in Conroe for many years until she retired to spend more time with her grandchildren. Eunice was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend and she touched so many with her generous and kind heart. The joy of her life was being a grandmother to four grandsons whom she loved dearly. She was their biggest fan in their sports and activities and was so proud of the young adults they have become. Eunice also enjoyed reading, gardening, volunteer work, her Sunday school class and church activities. Although we mourn the loss of our beloved mother and grandmother, we rest in the knowledge that she is rejoicing in the presence of our Lord and Savior. She will forever live in our hearts and in His hands. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Doris Leverkuhn; her husband of fifty years, Glenn Wilson and brother Charles Leverkuhn. Eunice is survived by her two sons: David Wilson and his wife Jane of Dallas; Darryl Wilson and his wife Marianne of Conroe; her grandsons: Clark and Matt Wilson of Dallas and Travis and Conner Wilson of Conroe; her sister-in-law Brenda Burgdorf and her husband Ross; brother-in-law James Wilson and wife Carrie and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, April 25th. Funeral services giving thanks for Eunice's life will be held Saturday, April 27th 10:00am at the First United Methodist Church of Conroe. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Covenant Christian School or First United Methodist Church Conroe.
