Funeral services for Frances Juanita Day will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. Jay Gross officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Frances Juanita Day went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, in her home on May 18, 2014. Juanita was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Juanita was born in McLennan County, on June 16, 1923 to Samuel and Mary Ann Duncan, the youngest of 10 children. On March 26, 1943 she married Carl Lee Day at the age of 16. Juanita loved her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. They were blessed with two sons, two daughters-in-law that loved her deeply, 4 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Juanita was a dedicated employee of the Baker & Botts Law Firm for 24 years, where she served as the head of the accounting department. Mrs. Day is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Mary Ann Duncan, as well as all of her siblings and her son Dwayne Carl Day. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Carl Lee Day, son Gary Lynn Day and his wife Dorothy; grandchildren, Alicia Day Berwick and husband Alex; Tara Day Walker and husband Daryl; Jonathan Day and wife Leslee; Amanda Day Hill and husband Jeremy. Great grandchildren, Ryan Berwick and wife Sarah, Carson Day Berwick, Collin Marshall Berwick, Anna Bei Berwick, Reese Day Walker, Cade Christian Walker, Meg Elizabeth Walker, Peyton Jon Day, Zachry Carl Day, Davis Michael Day, Ansley Christine Hill, Emily Grace Hill and Cody Dale Hill. She was lovingly known as MeMaw by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family will remember her as a devoted wife to her husband, as in Proverbs 31 "A woman of noble character who can fine. She is worth far more than rubies. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction in on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Charm is deceptive; and beauty is fluting but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate".

Our family would like to thank Juanita's loving caretakers, Sandy Lane, Darlene Hazel and Amber Andrews for their amazing care, love, attention and devotion to our wife, mother and grandmother. You are invited to view our webpage at www.cashnerconroe.com
