Francis Royal Dukes, "Frank", went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2011. Frank was born June 9, 1931 in Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania. He served in the Army during the Korean War as a Corporal in Communications. He and his wife, Lois, moved to Montgomery, Texas in 1980. Frank owned and operated Appliance Service Center in Conroe, Texas for 20 years and retired in February 2002. He loved working in his garden and spending time bowling with his friends. He had a good time joking and laughing with his friends.

Frank is survived by his wife, Lois E. Dukes; three children, Debra Rutting (Kenneth); Ronald Dukes, and Pamela Clay (Dan); five step-children, Vicky Boreman (Alan), Penny Martin (Richard), Patricia Evans, Robert Evans (Cheryl), and Kathleen Yarnell (Donald); and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given in Frank's name to the ministry of Grace Lutheran Church, 13123 Highway 105 W, Conroe, Texas.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011, 10:00 am. at the Grace Lutheran Church Conroe, Texas. You are invited to leave written condolences and tributes for the family by visiting our website at www.cashnerconroe.com.
