A Memorial Service for Fredrick "Fred" Anthony Bruman, of Montgomery, TX, will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Bill Bruman officiating. He will receive military honors from the VFW Post 4709 for his honorable service in the Army. Fred was born on August 29, 1949 to George and Mary Elizabeth Bruman in Brown City, Michigan and passed away on December 26, 2012 in Conroe, Texas. He was 63 years old. Fred proudly served his country during Vietnam as an Army medic and was a member of the VFW Post 4709 in Conroe. He was an avid fisherman as well as an exceptional landscaper and gardener. Fred was a wonderful, selfless man who was supportive and loving to his family and to all who knew him. Fred had a contagious smile that melted your heart and was a true gentleman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who was well loved and will be dearly missed. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Bruman. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 42 years, Jean Bruman; daughter, Cammie Blum; dear grandchildren, Seth Gilliam and Madison Blum; siblings, Joe Bruman, Leonard Bruman, Jo Ann Haske, Lou Bruman, Dave Bruman, Bob Bruman, Bill Bruman and Don Bruman; God-daughter, Brandy; numerous other dear relatives and friends also survive.
