Garland Brunson of Montgomery, Texas passed away October 1, 2013. Garland was born November 25, 1934 in Lufkin, Texas to Everett and Loys Brunson. He attended Beaumont High School and later Lamar University. Other than his family Garland's second love was his horses, he was a member of American Paint Horse Association. He and his wife are members of Walden Community Church. Garland was preceded in death by his parents and brother Everett J. Brunson. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Mary Brunson; son: Dr. Larry Brunson and wife Dr. Debbie Hohn; daughter: Laurie Boepple and husband George; grandchildren: Iris, Blake, Holly and husband Jacob, Mary Lee and husband Randel, and Jordan; great grandchildren: Alex, Addison, Emma, Leila, Elise, Makayla, Jackson, and Owen; sister: Gwen Fischer and husband Charles; sister-in-law: Yvonne Brunson; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
