Gary Wayne DeCoux, 65, born September 15, 1948 in San Antonio, TX, went to his forever home with the Lord on April 18, 2014. Gary graduated Port Neches-Groves High in 1967. He worked many years as a draftsman for a shipbuilding company and was a creative artist. He lived in Conroe, for the last 14 years. He is survived by his wife Toni McWilliams-DeCoux, two step-sons, Jeremy McWilliams/Shona & children Daniel, Ryan and Madison; & Matthew McWilliams/Heather & children London, Kinley, Holland & Merritt; brother Rodney DeCoux/Terri; sister Susan Broussard/John; two sons Josuah DeCoux & Shane DeCoux/Susan; grandson Ethan; nieces, Adrienne Virternas, & children Ben & Chloe; Stephanie Gregory & children Dylan, Danielle, & Shayna. Gary's wit, humor, sensitivity and his heart for others in need will be missed by all who knew him. He was one of a kind and we will never forget him. His gift as an artist was very special, his love for the Lord very real and he left lasting memories with all that knew him. He truly had a gentle quiet spirit and heaven is a better place with Gary there. A memorial service will be held at Hooper Chapel, First Baptist Church, Conroe, Friday, April 25, 2014 @ 11:00 am. Till we see you again....
