Gary Dean Ubanoski passed away in a local hospital surrounded by his family on October 31, 2013 at the age of 49 years old. He was born on February 21, 1964. He went to Heaven to join the Lord, his Dad, and two best friends. Gary was an avid sports fan. He played baseball for Jersey Village High School and was offered numerous scholarships. He chose Alvin Community College where he was coached pitching by Nolan Ryan. Some of Gary's favorite times were spending time with his daughter Shelby, family, and friends. He loved to be around people and have a good time. His passion was doing anything that involved sports, including coaching little league baseball. He will be greatly missed and always in our hearts. Gary was preceded in death by his Father, Harold Ubanoski. He is survived by his Daughter Shelby Ubanoski, Mother Doris Ubanoski; sisters Dinah Reuss and husband Rick, Debbie Bischoff and husband Mike, and Connie Ubanoski; nephews Ricky Reuss and wife Michelle, Randy Reuss, Brandon Bischoff and wife Amanda, Ryan Reuss; four great nieces and nephews, numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on November 5, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Sam Houston Funeral Home in Montgomery, Texas. Funeral services will be held on November 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville, TX with Father Edward C. Kucera, Jr. officiating.
