OUR LOVING BROTHER

GARY MCKINNEY COCHRAN

HAS GONE TO BE WITH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR

ON JANUARY 23, 2018

Gary was born on August 23, 1945 in Champagne, Ill. to Eva Bess Anderson Cochran & Gladcell McKinney Cochran of Conroe, Texas.

Survivors include sisters, Kay & Sandra Cochran, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins located in Conroe, The Woodlands and surrounding areas of Texas.

Gary graduated from Conroe High School and got his bachelor degree at North Texas University.

He had a career as an ambitious Realtor/Broker, participated in selling the land that our family owned Grogan-Cochran Lumber mill to George Mitchell who named it The Woodlands, Texas. Our father, Gladcell & Eva Bess Cochran opened Cochran's Jewelers in Conroe, Texas in 1955 and Gary inherited the jewelry store and the store was successfully operated for over 40 years.

The first Glenn Campbell Charity Tennis Tournament was put on in 1973 at April Sound on Lake Conroe by Gary Cochran with Kay Cochran's connections with contacts she made with the theatrical agency she was affiliated with in Beverly Hills, CA.
