Geneva Marzee Eaton was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 5, 1920 to Thomas Jefferson Davis and Ella Lee Davis and passed away at the age of 95 in Conroe, Texas on November 21, 2015. She was raised as a Southern Baptist and was baptized at a young age in the San Antonio River. Geneva was a talented, intelligent, hard-working woman who dedicated her life to the wellbeing of her husband and children. She entered college at the age of 39, earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education at the age of 42, and taught the first grade in El Paso, Texas. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband Wilbur W. "Bill" Eaton and by her son Wilbur W. Eaton Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Alta Goodnight of Conroe, Texas; her granddaughter and her husband, Dena and Bill Maxson of Flower Mound, Texas; her grandson, Clinton Goodnight of Conroe, Texas; and her great-grandchildren, Mackenzi and Brodric Maxson of Flower Mound, Texas. Her service will be Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 3pm in the Garden Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Chris Lake officiating.
