George H. Lundquist, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on the evening of January 15, 2013 with loving family at his side.

He was born in Chicago and went on to serve in the U.S. Army. He then met and married, Mary Ellen, his wife of 52 years. They were blessed with six children, Jeff Lundquist, Denise Lundquist (deceased), William Lundquist (deceased), MaryBeth Walker, Sharon Alexander and Megann Lundquist.

George and his family relocated to Houston in 1969 to continue his career of 21 years with Liquid Carbonic. He then became a proud business owner of American Carbonic Corporation.

George spent his last 12 years enjoying his favorite things which include his morning coffee, Sudoku, and boating on Lake Conroe with his 9 grandchildren, participating in the annual Walden 4th of July parade and socializing with friends.

A celebration of George's life will be held on Monday, January 21st, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville, Texas. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M., followed by a memorial Mass at 10:30 A.M.. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery with a luncheon to follow in the church hall.
