Jerry passed away at age 65 in Spring, TX on Aug. 5, 2015 after a long fight with Alzheimer's Disease.

Born in Fargo, ND, to the late Maurice T. and Martha W. Ellingson. A Vietnam Veteran, he served with the 2nd Battalion (Hawk) 71st Artillery in Korea.

In 1978 he married Sharon Baum, in Wheaton, IL. They later settled and raised a family in CA. Jerry proudly worked as a union foreman for 19 yrs at Advance Fire Protection. He retired at 55 to enjoy life on Lake Conroe.

A celebration will be held Sept. 19th from 2 to 4 p.m. at 12290 Sagittarius Drive East, Willis, TX, 77318, with Military Honors to be presented at 3 p.m.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; 3 children, Nathan Ellingson, Sarah Oliver and Stephanie Bassi; grandson, Tyler; brothers Duane and Gary; sisters Patricia and Laurel, along with nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and a multitude of friends.
