was called home by his Heavenly Father on June 6, 2014 in Conroe, Texas after battling cancer for nine years. Born in Roby, Texas to Malvin Lewis O'Briant and Opal Dean Chism. He worked as a paper hanger and painter until 1997. He was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Conroe, where he was helped as a Deacon and Elder until he became too sick.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce O'Briant; daughter, Linda Kay Keith of Gilmer, Texas; sons, Ricky O'Briant of Conroe, Onan Lleween O'Briant of Jasper, Texas and Steven Lewis O'Briant of Porter, Texas; step daughters, Debbie Coulter of Diana, Texas and Glenda Skains of Waco; step son, Ricky Jett of Bullard, Texas; 35 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren with two on the way; and two great great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 pm until 8 pm on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Cornerstone Church, 100 Mosswood Drive, Conroe, Texas 77302. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Cornerstone Church. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery in Porter, Texas.
