Hailey Jackson Chunn was born March 1, 1971 in Bryan, Texas. She lost her battle with cancer at home with family on June 1, 2014. Hailey was preceded in death by her mother Deborah Singleton; step-father Richard Edwards; and aunt Sherri Meeker. She survived by her husband Ray Chunn; father James Johnston & wife Susan; grandparents Glen & Jeannie Singleton; children Krysta Weeks (Matt Albertson), Brandon Jackson (Cursten Mercado), Damien Flores, Vannessa McAttee & husband Bill, Ray Chunn III & wife Joey, and Chris Chunn; sister Tuesday Watson & husband Rusty; brothers Jason Chisenhall, David Flores, James Johnston, and Derek Johnston; 7 grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. A special thanks to Tammy Arnold, and her nieces Kelly, Kimmie and Kaitlyn. Hailey grew up in Kerrville, Texas. She later moved to Conroe, Texas where she was proud to raise her family. Hailey was a very loving mother, wife, sister and friend. She was an all-around amazing person who was compassionate, funny, selfless and straight forward. Hailey never met a stranger. She always helped everyone if she had the chance to. She was a very special kind of person--if you had the chance to know her you would never forget her. Her favorite quote was "When you love someone, you love them in spite of what they do... Not because of it."

A celebration of Hailey's life will be held at Wiggensville Victory Tabernacle on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11am, with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery in Montgomery, Texas.
