Harold "Whitey" Holidy, 75 years of age, went home to be with his Lord and Savior May 15, 2017 at home in the presence of loved ones.

Whitey as he was affectionately called by all that knew him was born August 5, 1941 in Blanchard, OK to William and Thelma Holidy. Whitey married the love of his life and they were together for 34 years. They raised a son and three daughters and were blessed to "adopt" three more daughters into their family.

Preceded in death by his parents William and Thelma Holidy, sister Alpha Esgar and sister Armita Mitchusson. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Holidy of 34 years; son Ray Holidy, wife Terri and grandchildren Jarrod and Chance; daughter Belinda Land, husband John and grandchildren Makensie and Colton; daughter Frances Douglas; daughter Deena Johnson, grandchildren Joseph and Abby; daughter Sandie Sherman, husband Tommie and grandchildren Kimberlee, husband Tyler, Kourtney and Beatrice; daughter Joyce Slusher, husband Jed and grandchildren Katie, Shannon, Haley and husband Cody, and William; Robbie Merritt, Michelle Gillet and Gavin. Brother Jay Mitchusson, wife Paula; brother Don Holidy, wife Jan; sister Louise Byrd; sister Almeda Thatcher, husband Wilford. Also numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. As well as many life long friends.

Memorial Service will be held May 19, 2017 2:00pm at The Fellowship of Willis, 9527 County Line Rd, Willis, TX 77378 with Pastor Scott Young officiating.

The family would like to thank friends and family for the many prayers that helped the family get through this difficult time.

In Lieu of flowers the children of Whitey and Barbara would like to ask that you make a donation no matter the size to the care of their mother as she goes about moving forward.
