Harold Perkins Fife was born on August 2, 1917 in Chappell Hill, Texas to Woody and Ollie Fife. Harold passed away on November 21, 2014 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 97. Being a strong pillar of the community in Houston, Texas, Harold was a member of Gray Masonic Lodge, he also served as Captain of the Houston Police Department, Captain of The Harris County Sheriff's Department, and Head of Security for 30 years in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. While living the life of a cowboy and rancher he also was a bull rider, saddle bronc rider and calf roper. After retirement, Harold enjoyed working on his ranch with his family. Harold is preceded in death by his loving wife Sybil Fife. He is survived by his son Harold James Fife and wife Dianne; grandchildren, Stacey Beckworth and husband Brad, Cody Wright and husband Eddie, James Isaac Fife and wife Jennifer. Great grandchildren; Caroline Beckworth, Katie Beckworth, Isabelle Bendele, Keller Bendele, Claire Wright, Luke James Fife and Remington Masters. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Service will be held on Monday, November 24 th at 10:00am in the Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Rd., Conroe, Texas 77303.
