Was born in Corinth, Mississippi. on February 12, 1939 & passed away in his home on July 28, 2016 at the age of 77. He was a loving father, husband, "Papa", uncle, brother & friend, beloved by all who knew him. Harvey was intelligent, funny, kind, & beyond generous. On the football field he was known as "200lbs. of Romping Stomping Hell" Harvey was inducted into the Mississippi Hall of Fame for high school football & went on to play college football in Mississippi. Harvey served his country for four years in the Vietnam War. He was a proud veteran & patriot who continued to serve his country & troops in any way he could. Harvey was dedicated to being a lifelong learner, taking every opportunity to continue his education. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Chicago, Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois, & Doctorate Degree in Industrial Engineering from Loyola University. Harvey started HADCO International, a company that specializes in appraisals in the Oil and Gas Industry. Harvey became a pioneer in his work, as a Master Appraiser of machinery and equipment, setting the standards used today. His family & friends meant everything to him. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Millard & Mary Annie Ferris Davis of Corinth, Miss.; wife Becky Ann Davis of Conroe, Texas, & sister Nelda Joy Davis of Corinth, Miss. Harvey is survived by sons Jason Davis of Montgomery, Texas; Mikeall & Claudia Davis of Shreveport, Louisiana, daughters Monica Phillips; & Katherine Felder of Conroe, Texas; stepsons Ryan & Rodney Russell of Dallas, Texas; sister Ann(Gene)Collins; nieces Dedra Walker & Teri Gurley of Corinth, Mississippi; grandchildren Ashlynn, Alexis & Isaiah Davis; Garrett, Hannah & Griffin DeClaris; Duantevia Hollis; Denieha Felder; Keira & Aura Rivet; & Jasmine Belmore. Services to be heald on August 3, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. at She St. James Episcopol Church in Conroe Texas In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Montgomery County Assistance League.
