Helen A. Clover went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ April 21, 2017. Helen passed away peacefully at her home in Montgomery, Texas.

Helen will be deeply missed by her family, especially her son Lonnie R. Clover and daughter-in-law Sonya R. Clover, who lovingly cared for her over the last few years.

Helen, a homemaker, was full of life and always kept her family as her first priority. After growing up on a farm, Helen spent a great deal of her life travelling with her husband Richard D. Clover following his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps. The couple lived in Ohio, Texas, Connecticut, California and Israel.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Helen was born Nov. 9, 1922 in Harrod, Ohio to James Perry and Lydia Hatfield Young. She was the baby of eight siblings. She married Richard D. Clover Jan. 31, 1942. The couple welcomed their son, Lonnie R. Clover, March 3, 1944.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents James Perry and Lydia Hatfield of Ohio, her siblings and her husband Richard D. Clover.

She is survived by her son Lonnie R. Clover and daughter-in-law Sonya R. Clover of Montgomery, Texas; granddaughters Candace A. Carver of Montgomery, Texas and Catherine M. Dominguez and husband Joseph P. Dominguez of Tomball; great grandchildren Forrest L. Self, Brianna R. Carver, Diana F. Carver, Samuel P. Dominguez and Zachary P. Dominguez.

A celebration of life will be held at Montgomery United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Texas on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Morning Glories at the Montgomery United Methodist Church at 22548 Texas 105, Montgomery, Texas 77356 in care of the Morning Glories.
