Ivy Ray Ringo, 80, of Conroe, Texas died on December 7, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Ringo was born on April 19, 1932 in Pelly, Texas and was a 1952 graduate of Conroe High School. He was a member Bethlehem Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Ivy was an avid fisherman and hunter as well as an exceptional farmer and gardener. He was well loved and will be dearly missed.

Ivy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane Pitts Ringo and his parents, George and Jessie Ringo and two brothers, George W. Ringo and Pete Ringo. He is survived by his loving family: son, Peyton "Herkey" Mullins and his wife, Vicki; sisters, Doris Jean Barnes and Joyce Hudson; brother, Howard Ringo and his wife, Nancy; two grandsons, Jeffrey Peyton Mullins and Matthew Marshall Mullins; many nieces, nephews and numerous other dear relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 6:00-800 P.M at Conroe Funeral Directors. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of East Texas.
