1912 - 2012

Jack Breeden Dienna died July 10th, 2012 in Houston, Texas at the age of 100. He was born April 7, 1912 to Daniel F. and Cora B. Dienna. He spent his early years in Birmingham, AL, and graduated in1934 from Penn State University where he was a member of the Beta Theta Phi fraternity. Jack married Gwladys Williams Peterson in 1942, and served in the US Navy until 1945. He joined Rohm and Haas Chemical Company in 1936 and retired in 1972. After his wife's passing, Jack married Allene Brown. They lived in Conroe together until 1993. Jack's three children, Jackie Gilmer, Pete Dienna and Stephen Dienna have given him seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Jack's special thanks and gratitude go to his wonderful care givers, Kareema Ghazali and Cedric Akue. Jack brought his great passion for humor and golf to us all. Our "PopPop" will be greatly missed.
