Jackie Faye Roberts Law, loving mother and "Mimi", surrounded by her loving children, went to be with her Lord and joined her husband, the love of her life, on Thursday, December 20, 2012 following a short illness. She was born October 20, 1925 in Minden, La. and was the youngest of eight children born to James Dalco and Leona Tousinau Roberts. She grew up in Bossier City, La. After graduation from high school she attended Business College in Shreveport, La and later worked as a secretary for an oil company.

Jackie married Russell Law on May 27, 1949 and they moved from Shreveport, La to Conroe, Tx. in May of 1952 with their son, Stephen. It was in Conroe that Mr. Law formed his own company, Conroe Mill Supply, Inc., a business now run by Stephen Law. Jackie Law served as Secretary-Treasurer of Conroe Mill Supply, Inc.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, having previously taught kindergarten and 1st grade age children in Sunday school. She was also a member of Conroe Service League, now serving as a sustainer member. During her 60 years in Conroe she made many friends, all very special, but none closer to her than the ladies she played bridge with during those 60 years. Family and friends were her treasure.

Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 56 years, her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Russell Law and his wife, Susan, of Conroe; Sharon Law Wiser and her husband, David, of Richmond; Tricia Law Brady and her husband, Scott, of Conroe; grandchildren, Russell Thomas Law, Mark Baker Law, Sarah Law Chandler, Eric Scott Brady, Ashley Brady Mason, Amy Nicole Brady, Robert Law Wiser, and Carole Marie Wiser; 9 great grandchildren, and her sister, Hazel Roberts Boyd. She was looking forward to the arrival of her 10th great-grandchild in July. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Conroe. Visitation will be held Friday December 21, 2012 from 5 to 7 pm at Metcalf Funeral Directors with services on Saturday December 22, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Conroe at 2 pm with interment to follow in Conroe Memorial Park.
