Funeral services for Jacob Dean Fidge will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Bro. Caleb Holland officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Jacob was born August 27, 1989 in Conroe, Texas to Dennis Lee Fidge and Gina Marie Fidge and passed away July 14, 2012 while in Oklahoma. Jacob graduated from Conroe High School in 2008, where he was an all-district football player and he went on to play at the collegiate level for Eastern New Mexico University. He worked for Directional Rental in Houston, Wyoming and Oklahoma City. Jacob is preceded in death by his grandparents, James "Jim" Kight and Wallace and Beverly Fidge and by his uncle, Dean Fidge. Jacob is survived by his loving parents, Dennis and Gina Fidge of Conroe; sister, Courtnie Hays and husband David of Houston; brother, Benjamin Fidge and wife Christy; grandmother, Jacklyn Kight; Jacob's girlfriend, Stephanie Johnson; aunts and uncles, Fonda and Walter Kerslake, Jason and Paula Kight, Sharla and Bob Heitz, Shelly Fidge, Nickie Fidge and Christy Fidge; cousins, Ryan, Julie, Kevin, Brittany, Blake, Dustin, Andrea, Chandra and Chelsea. Pallbearers will be John Estes, Neil Canales, Pat McGrath, Chris Menard, Russell Arnold, Ronald Stines and Corey Grover. He was at the point in his life where he had everything he wanted, great job and a beautiful girlfriend. Jacob loved sports, hunting and the great outdoors. Jacob had a beautiful smile that was contagious to everyone around him and was active in the community, coaching summer league football.
