Jamie, of Montgomery, Texas passed away surrounded by his family on Friday August 2nd, 2013. He was born on August 1st, 1952 in Cleveland, Texas to Edgar (Dick) and Jeanette (Jean) Frank of Montgomery, Texas.

Jamie lived his entire life in the Conroe and Montgomery County area and graduated from Conroe High School in 1970. Jamie was the ace pitcher for the Mims Baptist Little League state champions in 1965. He also was an outstanding Conroe Tiger football player, earning a scholarship to Sam Houston State University in 1971. After a short time at SHSU, Jamie returned to Conroe and began a career as a highly skilled master carpenter working for numerous builders in the Montgomery County area.

His family and friends know Jamie as a very loyal individual, who would be there for anyone needing help. He was beloved in his April Sound community, always visiting with his neighbors and helping out on the street he lived on. He was an amazing cook, who loved to grill, and was known for his short ribs. He worked in his yard everyday, and could make anything grow. He enjoyed playing golf, watching football, NASCAR, and loved the Houston Astros. Always by his side was his dog Lilly, his constant companion whom he loved very much.

He was preceded by his father, Edgar (Dick) Frank, brother Michael Wayne Frank and niece Amber Lynn Frank.

Jamie is survived by the love of his life Vicki and daughter Jane, daughter Amanda, Mother Jean Frank, brothers Gary Lee Frank, Russell Glynn Frank and his wife Terrie, and Ronald Lynn Frank. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 5PM-7PM at Conroe Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6th at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with interment following at Garden Park Cemetery.
