James Franklin Boughton passed away at 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the age of 91. Born in Sulphur Springs, TX, he was the son of James and Myrtle Boughton.

A memorial service is set for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, at First United Methodist Church at 200 North Thomason in Willis, TX.

Frank was a World War II veteran. Having served in the U.S. Army, he was stationed in Italy during the war.

Throughout the majority of his career, Frank worked as a salesman for State Chemical. Upon retirement, he spent time working as a marshall for the Deerwood Golf Club.

Frank was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Willis, as well as a 60-year member of the Scottish Rite Lodge in Dallas, TX. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching baseball and playing with his grandkids.

Frank is preceded in death by his first wife, Christine, and fur baby, Zucker.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Boughton; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Marshall Roberts; a sister, Tampa Palosi; grandsons, Todd Ormsby and his wife, Ember; Cory Ormsby and his wife, Michelle; great-grandsons Carter, Walker and Beckham Ormsby; and his beloved pet, Sophie.
