James Wilson, 76, of Montgomery TX, passed away Tuesday, January 28th 2014. He was born to the late Charlie Fay Martin and Fannie Mae Handy, in Forth Worth, TX on November 4, 1937.

James was a retired Pipe Inspector in the Oil Field Industry. He was also an active member of the Mason Lodge #25 and The Texas Army, James was also a retired Navy Seal.

James is survived by his wife Mildred E. Griffith Wilson. Daughter; Kelly R. Wilson and Fiancée Robert Baxter of Montgomery, TX, daughter; Jayne Smart of Montgomery, TX, granddaughters; Jordan Wilson, Cassidy Smart and Sabrina Smart of Montgomery, TX, great granddaughters; Adalynn Sessions of Montgomery, TX, Kadynee Smith, Kale Smith, and Kambree Smith of Normangee, TX. He also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Metcalf Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Metcalf Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Griffith Cemetery.
