Jennifer "Jan" Mock passed away on June 13, 2013 at age 55 surrounded by her loving family and friends in Houston, Texas. She was born at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma on October 7, 1957 to James and Della "Janie" Ellisor.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 18th at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will in St. Mary's Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, James Ellisor; infant brother, Emory Lee Ellisor. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Daniel Mock; daughters, Kara Diaz Mock, and Leah Mock; son, Brian Mock and wife Ashley; brothers, Jimmy Ellisor (Steve) of Toledo, Ohio, Charles Ellisor of Huntsville, Texas, Lynn Ellisor (Christina) of Conroe, Texas and Dee Ellisor (Michelle) of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Hector Diaz Mock, Isaiah Diaz, Vincent Diaz, Coy Mock, Lexi Mock and Wyatt Smith; mother Janie Ellisor and Ed McCann; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She graduated from Conroe High School in 1976 and then worked for the Conroe ISD for 25 years as a supervisor for the child nutrition department. She was very active in the Montgomery-Dobbin 4H Club and the Montgomery FFA. She loved to garden, go fishing & swimming with her family. Her grandchildren were the center of her world, she was the best NANA. For many years, she helped both her children and grandchildren raise turkeys and chickens for Texas major shows and the Montgomery County Fair. Some of their accomplishments included Reserve Grand Champion Turkey at San Antonio Livestock Show and numerous Grand and Reserve Champion Turkeys at the Montgomery County Fair. She enjoyed the "friendly" competition between many show families, including the Staton family, the Mabry family, the Slaughter family and the Sharp family to name a few. Needless to say, she will be missed dearly by many.
