Jerry D. Biewen, 85, of The Woodlands, TX went to be with his Lord September 9, 2016. He was born June 12, 1931 in What Cheer, Iowa, the son of Walter and Gladys Biewen. He was the eldest of three siblings. He graduated from Iowa Wesleyan University with an undergraduate teaching degree in Physical Education. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956.

He married Iva L. (Lou) Sims on June 9, 1961. They were married for 55 years. Jerry worked for the Federal Aviation Agency as an Installation Technician, installing electronic equipment in aviation control towers. They settled in Conroe, Texas in 1968 when Jerry was transferred to the Houston Air Route Traffic Control Center. A daughter Lori was born to this union in 1966.

Jerry was proceeded in death by his wife Lou, his parents, brother James Biewen and sister Linda Marx. He is survived by his daughter Lori Biewen and son-in-law Adam Trammell of San Diego, CA as well as his two grand dogs, Rhiannon and Walter.

A memorial service will be held for both Jerry and Lou on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00am at Hooper Chapel at the First Baptist Church of Conroe.
