Jerry Amos Zabodyn, 62, of Cut-N-Shoot, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Conroe Regional Hospital. He was born May 4, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Lois Westfall and Stanley Zabodyn. Jerry is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda Clakley Zabodyn. He is also survived by his daughters Jennifer Meaux (husband Dan), Karen Jensen (husband Scott), Brandy Zabodyn, and Carrie Zabodyn (fiancé Nelson Cuellar); grandchildren, Josh, Makenzee, Shelbey, Brant, Nicole, Kailey, Bryce, Micah, Kara and Nikayla; father, Stanley Zabodyn; mother, Lois Westfall; sister, Theresa McManus; and brother, Leslie Zabodyn. Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Zabodyn, David Zabodyn, and Jeffery Zabodyn; step-mother, Bernice Zabodyn. Jerry was employed with Kinder Morgan for eight years at the time of his death, but had a much respected 40+ year career in the oil and gas industry. Visitation will be held at Mims Baptist Church, Conroe, Texas on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow with Reverend Gene Kendrick and Dr. Kenneth Trent officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Mims Baptist Church Building Fund (www.mimsbaptist.org/buildingfund) or TIRR Foundation (www.tirrfoundation.org) in honor of Jerry.
