It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jimmie Ray Teran. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Susan Teran and their four children - Brent Teran, Kelly Fucheck, Michael Bruno, and Kristina Teran.

He was born in Port Lavaca, Texas on November 12, 1955; he was one of six children born from the union of the late Albert Sr. and Patricia Teran. He is survived by five siblings Albert Teran Jr., Tina Teran, Darlene Teran, Ann Gaylord, and Wally Teran. Jimmie graduated from Dobie High School, Houston, Texas.

Jimmie honorably served his community for over 27 years as a Fireman/EMT for the Houston Fire Department. In addition, he owned and operated a custom woodworking shop in Montgomery, Texas for 23 years. Jimmie was a member of Montgomery United Methodist Church where he used to enjoy being a chaperone of the youth group. Jimmie was an avid outdoor sportsman and boater. He was a skilled fisherman, enjoying tournament bass fishing, with his brother and Houston Fire Fighter's Bass Club. He also enjoyed golf, as well as spending time with his kids and grandkids. To cherish his memory, Jimmie leaves eleven grandchildren, Daisy, Zoe, Bradley, Tomas, Lillian, Kaleb, Karson, Kannon, Briahna, Jackson, & Jase. Friends and family may gather for a viewing from 9-10 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, at Montgomery United Methodist Church, 22548 Highway 105, Montgomery, Texas. Funeral Service will follow at 10 a.m., with Pastor David Lindwall officiating. Procession will follow to Smith Memorial Park, 10129 FM 1097 Rd W, Willis, TX for burial where graveside services will be under the auspices of the Houston Fire Department Honor Guard. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital for the care provided to Jimmie Teran during his last weeks.
